 Our “Best-A-Lex” phenolic wheels are made
of macerated canvas or fiber-filler impregnated with phenolic resin
and molded under extreme heat and pressure into a product with a
uniformly hard, smooth finish. The resulting wheel is resistant to
corrosion from oil, water, grease, and commonly used solvents, and
will not spark. It’s uniformly hard surface means that it rolls very
easily, but it is not as hard on floor surfaces as metallic wheels
and will not leave marks like some rubber wheels. They can be
operated continuously in temperatures from -50° F to 250° F and
intermittently to 300° F.
Special High Capacity types (LAM Series) and
High-Temperature (HT Series)
versions are also available.
We use only North American made Phenolic wheels to ensure quality
and availability unmatched by inferior imported products.
